Christmas Menu

The Angel Inn Christmas Menu is available between 1st and 24th December.  Please make your booking by telephone to ascertain availability.

To confirm your reservation please return the booking (download it below) form together with a deposit of £10 per person at least 14 days before the booking date, by post to The Angel Larling Norwich Norfolk NR16 2QU, cheques payable to The Angel Inn.

CHRISTMAS MENU 2018 

Starters

ROASTED PUMPKIN SOUP
With pumpkin seeds and served with warm French bread.

ROASTED VINE TOMATOES
With warm mozarella, topped with shredded basil, drizzled with olive oil.

SMOKED PIGEON BREAST
With pear and walnut rocket salad topped with balsamic vinegar dressing.

PRAWN & CHORIZO SKEWERS
With a lemon and coriander mayo, garnished with salad leaves.

Mains

TRADITIONAL ROAST TURKEY
Served with roast potatoes, homemade stuffing, pig in blanket, gravy and cranberry sauce.

ROAST SIRLOIN OF BEEF
Slices of Sirloin with a Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and rich beef gravy served with a traditional horseradish sauce.

PAN ROASTED VENISON LOIN
with roast potatoes and a red wine jus.

All the above are served with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes

VEGATABLE STROGONOFF
Served with wild rice and garnished with fresh watercress.

PAN ROASTED COD STEAK
With a shrimp and lemon butter served with new potatoes and sprouting broccoli.

Desserts

CHRISTMAS PUDDING
Served with brandy sauce.

PARRAVANI'S ICE CREAM
1 Scoop of Irish cream liqueur and 1 scoop of white mint and chocolate topped with fresh cream and an after eight mint. 

CHOCOLATE & CHILLI TART
A chocolate and chilli ganache set in chocolate pastry with lime creme fraiche.

BAKED SALTED CARAMEL CHEESECAKE with a peanut butter brittle served with vanilla ice cream.
